INFANTS

There's a critical window of time in a baby's development when they should have a vision assessment.  This simple appointment can change their future. 70% of juvenile delinquents have an undiagnosed vision problem.  Early detection and correction of these vision issues are imperative to a child's learning behaviors and successes. Your child's pediatrician will screen for any obvious abnormalities, infections and diseases.  Routine care from your pediatrician is important to provide basic health care for a developing child. However, your pediatrician does not routinely test for refractive anomalies or the presence of small eye turns and will refer for vision evaluation if there is any suspicion of eye problems.

Our infant program provides a one-time, no cost eye and vision assessment for babies 6 to 12 months old. Schedule an exam with Dr. Judson or Dr. Edmunds, our pediatric specialists.
